Cookie Policy

How this website uses cookies and how to control them.

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Some are essential for the site to work; others are used for analytics or marketing. Your browser can also store small amounts of site data directly (local storage).

Your choices

When you first visit this website a consent banner lets you accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies or manage your preferences. Optional technologies stay off until you choose to allow them.

What this site stores

The consent banner itself stores your choices on your device. It uses local storage entries beginning with stcm.consent (one per category, plus a record that you have answered the banner) and first-party cookies beginning with wp_consent_ which record whether each category is allowed or denied. These exist so the site can remember your decision; they are necessary for the consent system to work and they do not track you.

Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4, supplied through Google Site Kit, to understand how the site is used. Analytics is off by default: Google Consent Mode tells Google that analytics storage is denied until you accept the Analytics category in the cookie banner. Only after consent does Google Analytics set first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_*, which distinguish visits and measure usage. You can withdraw consent at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.

Marketing and advertising

We do not use marketing or advertising cookies, and no advertising or remarketing services are installed. If advertising features are ever introduced, they will not run without a separate consent decision.

Changing your mind

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Choosing Reject non-essential stops optional technologies and, where technically possible, removes anything that was already stored.

Browser controls

You can also control or delete cookies and site data through your browser settings. Blocking necessary storage may affect how parts of the site work.
